Globalang’s main office is in the Centro de Incubação de Empresas de Baião. The county of Baião is part of the Oporto district and has an area of approximately 17.000 acres, composed of twenty parishes.
Baião is a county of contrasts, where the mountain and river meet in a harmonious way, offering to who visits a unique landscape. A landscape which Eça de Queirós, a Portuguese novelist of the 19th Century, eternalised in his work "A Cidade e as Serras" (The City and the Mountains).
Besides the Douro River (known all over the world and which is vital for the production of one of the most famous wines in the world, Port wine) here we can find some water courses like those of Ovil, Valadares, Zêzere and Teixeira that shape the contrasting landscape.
Despite presenting itself as a small spot on the globe, Baião manifests itself as a global county. And it is regarding this perspective that Globalang positions itself as a company – a global company.
